After introducing the Thus processing chip in April and releasing it with the Liberty 5 Pro series earbuds, Soundcore is bringing it to more audio products. The Thus chip is behind the best call quality I’ve ever heard from a pair of earbuds or headphones, virtually eliminating ambient sounds from the speaker’s environment. At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Soundcore announced the Space 2 Pro headphones, AeroClip 2 and AeroClip 2 Pro open clip earbuds, and Liberty Buds 2.
Space 2 Pro Headphones
The Space 2 Pro will be the first headphones to use the Thus chip, featuring a 6-microphone array for voice isolation. Eight additional microphones power the headphones’ adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), which Soundcore claims is 1.5 times stronger than the ANC on the Space One Pro across the 20Hz to 2,000Hz frequency range — covering key distractions like airplane drones, HVAC systems, and normal conversation.
Soundcore’s latest HearID listening preference test will generate customized sound profiles, and the headphones support hi-res audio via LDAC. Battery life is rated at 60 hours at 50 percent volume (30 hours with ANC on), or 20 hours of talk time per charge. The Space 2 Pro launches September 22 for $200 in gray, white, and black, available in the US, EU, and UK.
AeroClip 2 and AeroClip 2 Pro
Soundcore is also expanding its clip earbud lineup with updates to the AeroClip and a new Pro variant. The AeroClip 2 carries forward a similar design to the original but adds the Thus chip. It retails for $170 — matching the original AeroClip’s price — and launches September 22 in black, red, white, and blue.
The AeroClip 2 Pro adds Soundcore’s AI note-taking capability, previously seen on the Liberty 5 Pro Max, with an expanded feature set that includes recording of online meetings and phone calls in addition to in-person interactions. It includes a free AI transcription starter plan with 120 minutes per month for 24 months, with the option to subscribe for additional minutes. The 2 Pro uses 11mm dual-diaphragm drivers, supports LDAC hi-res audio, and is rated for 10 hours of playback at 50 percent volume, with 30 hours total including the charging case. Pricing and a firm launch date have not yet been announced, though Soundcore expects to release them later this year.
Liberty Buds 2
The Soundcore Liberty Buds 2 are compact 4.7-gram earbuds that also feature the Thus chip for call clarity, paired with a 6-microphone ANC system. They launch September 22 for $130 in purple, black, and white, rounding out Soundcore’s IFA 2026 lineup and extending the Thus chip’s reach across the brand’s full range of audio categories.
